YellowScan

Yellow Scan, a renowned French manufacturer of lidars, has recently launched three innovative models designed to push the boundaries of environmental scanning: the Surveyor Ultra, the Explorer, and the Navigator.
Each lidar is uniquely suited to different environments—urban areas for the Surveyor Ultra, dense tropical forests for the Explorer, and underwater exploration for the Navigator.

Studio River was tasked with producing films to showcase the Surveyor Ultra and Explorer models, focusing on their design and functionality. Due to tight deadlines, we emphasized the aesthetics, highlighting the unique, colorful designs that make Yellow Scan products visually striking. Each film also showcased the core capabilities of the respective lidars in their natural environments—urban landscapes for the Surveyor Ultra and dense forests for the Explorer. These films were presented at CES Las Vegas, where they highlighted Yellow Scan’s commitment to innovation and precision.

In a separate project, we produced a 3D animation for Yellow Scan’s latest creation, the Navigator. This video takes the viewer on a journey through a vibrant underwater world, where the Navigator’s lidar meticulously scans the seabed, revealing intricate details of the ocean floor while preserving the delicate marine ecosystem. This project showcases Yellow Scan’s advancement in underwater exploration technology, offering a groundbreaking tool for marine research and mapping.
